But, the vocational counselor&#039;s first job is to decide if there is work you can do within your restrictions and using the transferable job skills you already have.  If you are already trained as a bus driver, then the doctor&#039;s statement that you can do this type of work will probably result in a finding that you are employable. If you do not already have the training to drive a bus, then you are jumping the gun. Unfortunately, very few injured workers receive actual retraining through their L&amp;I claim. If you are found eligible for retraining, then you and your vocational counselor can look into a bus driver training course.  If you do not want to wait, you can look into the training on your own, but the cost will not be covered under your claim, unless you have already been found eligible for retraining. With more details, I might be able to answer your question better. Keep trying.</description>
